TEHRAN – A major exhibition of handicrafts opened its doors to the public at the historical Karim Khan Citadel (Arg-e Karim Khan) in the city of Shiraz on Tuesday.

About 150 artisans from 31 provinces contribute to the event that is organized under the auspices of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization.

The four-day exhibit touches upon woodwork, illuminated manuscript, miniature, textile printing, enamel, leatherwork, handwoven products, calligraphy, traditional musical instruments, metalwork, and marquetry, amongst a lavish circle of other skills.
